The Weeks Are Flying By Now...

Halloween is almost here & I cannot wait! It is by far my favorite holiday & I am so ready to take Molly trick-or-treating! We are actually having our Halloween party this weekend and I cannot wait to see all the kids (and hopefully the adults, too) in their halloween costumes! We're going weekly now to our OB appointments as the weeks are counting down. We are supposed to have 5 more weeks until our little one arrives, but the placenta is still running a couple of weeks ahead, so it looks we'll be meeting her a little sooner. Also, at my last appointment, the monitors showed that I was already having contractions every 3-4 minutes, so I guess we have an impatient little girl on our hands. Hopefully, we'll be able to hold her in at least 3 more weeks, though, so her lungs can get stronger. The sonogram showed her at 4lbs 12 oz with a head full of hair! Molly is in full nesting-stage right now. Every day, she reminds me of all the things we need for the baby. It's driving her crazy that we don't have diapers, clothes, a bed, a carseat, and everything else! I guess she's right...as quick as the weeks are flying by now, we need to start preparing. I think she is going to be such a big help when the baby gets here and a wonderful big sister! I cannot wait to see her hold her baby sister in her arms for the first time!

It's finally Fall...

The Hammock family is really enjoying this cooler weather! It finally feels like fall has arrived. The fair was last week and Eric, Molly & I were ready to hit it when the gates opened on opening night...
We had a really good time. Molly rode the rides, ate cotton candy, won a fish & loved playing the games more than anything. She's a sucker for "Step right up...A winner everytime!" She could have broke Eric really quick playing games.
Speaking of Eric, the farm is in full cotton-picking swing right now. This means we don't get to see him quite as much, but that's the life of a farmer!

We also got the news last week that we may be meeting our new little girl sooner than expected. It seems I have a placenta issue that may force us to induce a couple of weeks early. As long as she's healthy, we're ready when she is!

Myrtle Beach 2007

Here's a video of Molly & Caroline running from the waves on our 2007 vacation to Myrtle Beach. It's amazing to see how much they have changed since then. Enjoy...
