Back & Forth

It seems like this pregnancy has been full of highs & lows. After all those weeks of baby girl trying to make an early appearance, we finally got a good report that things had slowed down & she could make it til our actual due date. Then, on Friday, I went back for a check-up anticipating that everything would still be on track. However, Little Miss Hammock decided to throw us another curveball. This time, she decided she didn't want to do her breathing exercises (like she'd being doing perfectly for the last 3 weeks.) Her little tummy was also very swollen indicating that she has some type of bowel blockage. So, tomorrow we head to Savannah to a perinatology specialist to see what's going on. Hopefully, things will look a lot better then. One thing is for sure...it appears that this little girl is going to keep us on our toes!

Let The Fall Festivities Begin...

We've had such a great time in the last couple of weeks celebrating the arrival of Fall and cooler weather....finally! The kids had a really great time on Halloween & I think we'll be eating candy til this time next year!
This week was also Braylon's first week of recreation football. And, I honestly have to say that watching these 5-6 year old little boys is the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. They take it so seriously!
However, there was one person that did not enjoy the football game AT ALL...Molly! She was so nervous that Braylon was going to get hurt & would get so mad at anyone that tried to tackle him. She spent most of the game with her hands over her eyes, but when she did look, this was her nervous expression...
While we're getting into high gear with Fall festivities, baby Hammock has decided to slow it down a bit. After weeks of her trying to make an early arrival & us trying to keep her in, it appears that she has now decided to stay put for a while. My contractions have almost stopped completely & the placenta has slowed down to match my actual due date. So, it looks like we might have a little "Thanksgiving turkey" after all!

Myrtle Beach 2007

Here's a video of Molly & Caroline running from the waves on our 2007 vacation to Myrtle Beach. It's amazing to see how much they have changed since then. Enjoy...
